Random Acts - 10 000 BC

10 000 BC

10 000 BC is a short film directed by Marianne Murray for Channel 4's Random Acts.

Choreography by Karol Streisand

It's the time of human prehistory and a group of women are whiling away the hours of a sex strike. Music, drama, dancing and romance - all a cave girl needs. Marianne Murray is an artist and filmmaker from Basildon, Essex. She works across moving image, performance and installation, co-opting the naff and camp for utopian politics.
